The display uses both progressive scan and Faroudja DCDi deinterlacing to produce a high-quality image. It packs a native resolution of 1366 x 768p, and can accept NTSC, HD, VGA, SVGA, XGA, and SXGA input signals.

A set of 20-watt (10 watts per channel) speakers are available as optional accessories, or you can connect the unit to your existing audio system. The P50W38H features an audio volume leveler to avoid those unexpected loud moments, Closed Captioning when mute is activated, and gradual volume increase for more pleasant transitions from mute. It can play SAP (secondary audio program) audio, when available. The P50W38H features a remote control with onscreen equalizer, multilingual menus, and a sleep timer.

A single panel of AV inputs, which Zenith calls the "Jack Pack," lets you connect the display to such inputs as a DVD player, VCR, video game console, or a PC or Macintosh computer. The Jack Pack features high-resolution component-video inputs, S-Video in, composite-video in, and for connection to a computer, both an RGB (15-pin type-D) input and a DVI (Digital Video Interface) jack with HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) copy protection. Also included are two audio inputs--left and right RCA jacks and 1 phone plug connector--as well as left/right audio out and an RS-232c serial port for connecting external controls.

Best investment I ever made. I love the camera, love all the features and the fact that it is slim. Takes great clear, crisp pictures. Love all the shooting modes. Great everyday camera and with a 1g card it can take lots of pics. Battery life is also pretty good. One suggestions buy a good case for it, for the LCD's are sensitive.

While I was looking for a new camera, I wanted to try and not only get a brand I had heard of, but also a brand that would be backed by a great product. This camera is not only compact, but it's pictures' are clear and practically un-flawed. The settings on the camera really do help with whatever you're taking pictures of, and sometimes it seems as though the picture is postcard perfect. The shutter speed is a little slower than what I'm used to, but for the total quality of the pictures, it's fine with me. This camera is a great buy and a great product.

i got this as a present back in october of 2006. it broke 3 months ago!! only 9 months of limited use. i am so upset. when my boyfriend bought it, it was $350!! now, it will cost $150 to fix and its worth $150 now. i called olympus and because we dont have the receipt, they wont take it in. they need a proof of purchase, i said the camera is the proof. i have the warranty card, the box, everything except the receipt. i will NEVER buy an olympus again. the customer service are extremely rude and they dont even back up their product. dont buy this camera- you will be sorry.

this camera can't be beat for the price, full featured, compact, weather resistant. My order got lost with UPS and AMAZON would not help me track it down or provide any support to resolve. I finally worked direct with vendor (Capital Electronics) and they immediately replaced it. No complaints with their service at all so why use a middleman when they offer no value.

I bought this camera in a hurry because my other one unexpectedly broke. I don't like going anywhere without a camera. This one is ergonomically designed in a slight wedge shape making it easy to fall out of your pocket. I caught it before it hit the ground. Whew! Further, it is small so if you have large hands you probably don't want this one. The pictures were quite sharp. The viewing screen often whited out in bright, contrasty lighting situations and seemed unable to make a decent exposure in these conditions. I consider that defective. I took it back and got a thoroughly excellent Canon PowerShot A630 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom instead. Very satisfied with the Canon!

Great little camera.......2007-02-10

Compact so it fits in you pocket, high tech enough to dance with it's bigger counterparts. This little camera does it all. I comparison shopped for several weeks comparing and contrasting multiple cameras from cannon, kodak, hp, sony, panasonic, and olympus, and none had features like this, a small size, and in this price range.

7.1megapixels, digital image stabilization, 2.5 inch lcd viewing screen, and a low price for me of [...] dollars. OH, DID I MENTION EXCELLENT PICTURES. I have played with this for several days now editing the photos, paling with the on-board and the computer imaging package, and I see nothing wrong with this camera for an everyday average user like me. And with it's weather resistence, nice for a clumsy average user like me. Also the battery life is very adequate, about 120 photos or more, with slide shows, editing ect... This is well worth the investment, saving your families memories in a fit and proper manner

I also highly recommend the Stylus 810 if you have the extra money. It is on clearence at most chain stores at this time, so the price has dropped, but the thing that kept me from buying it instead of this 710, I had a coupon. They are virtually the same, but the 810 has 8megapixels, larger on board memory, and better shutterspeeds

Also, the Olympus Mastersoftware is very easy to use, And with panoramic feature, 3d, and Extra ART Features unlocked by Olympus Brand-Olympus Stamped Type H HD, this camera becomes even more of a pleasure to own. you can edit photos on the computer, or right in the palm of your hand. Both ways, this camera will make you feel like a pro in no time.

It is a compact camera, but poor picture quality........2006-10-25

Too much noise, especially in indoor photos. But again, I bought it because of its size. It is really compact, you can keep it in your pocket like a cell phone.
Battery life is very good. It has good finish and feels solid. I found most of the cameras which is this size has the same problum with picture noise. If you are planing to buy one, go to a shop and try it before you buy. Otherwise you might get disappointed with the picture clarity.
